Taking a Rest

 
Good Morning Family, so I've decided that a rest is necessary at this time.  Being on the compound 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is no joke and bit exhausting.  I've found that when I can have 1 entire day off every week I can more easily manage through the other 6; but that hasn't been possible here lately. I'm breaking at a mission house on another orphanage property, "NewLife4Kidz."  They have been gracious to me here.  I've enjoyed seeing a little bit more how they run things on their compound with their 120 children and how they are similar/ different to us at Haiti Children's Home.  Seeing their kids however makes me really miss mine at HCH (photo above). 

Overall, life is going well here in Haiti.  There was calm after the reading of the electoral candidates.  The new election date is set for March 20th; the day after my wedding.  We are all anxious to see what that will bring.

 So, some of you have seen my post regarding Saintile's brother Renald (photo above).  Renald has been suffering from what we think is pulmonary edema.  They were able to remove some of the fluid from his lunges and he returns on Monday to get more removed.  Continued prayers appreciated!

Wedding preparations are coming along; slowly but surely.  I miss you all!
